QasLinked - Privacy Policy

Overview

QasLinked ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users manage LinkedIn message templates, pre-fill connection notes, export visible profile data, and track connections. Your privacy is important to us.

Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers.

All data (templates, tracked connections, activation keys, daily usage counts) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.sync).

LinkedIn Data

The Extension reads publicly visible information from LinkedIn pages you visit (names, job titles, company names, locations, and profile URLs). This data is:

• Only read from pages you are actively viewing
• Never sent to any external server
• Only stored locally if you explicitly choose to track a connection or export profiles
• Never used for automated actions on LinkedIn (the Extension never clicks buttons, scrolls pages, or makes requests on your behalf)

Third-Party Services

The Extension does not use any analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party services. There are no network requests made by the Extension to any server.

Data Sync

Some data (activation keys, device IDs) is synced across your Chrome browsers using chrome.storage.sync. This sync is handled entirely by Google Chrome and is subject to Google's privacy policy.

Permissions

• storage — To save your templates, connections, and settings locally
• activeTab — To read the current LinkedIn page when you use the extension
• tabs — To open the full-page connection tracker
• clipboardWrite — To copy messages to your clipboard when you use the Copy feature

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
